There is
something so refreshing about waking up to a new morning. Though yesterday may
have been a day full of wrong choices and a hundred things on your list that
didn’t get crossed off, this morning is different. I believe God intended for mornings to feel that way. In Psalm 30:5
He tells us, joy comes in the morning, to
give us a hope that there is a new day ahead of us. Not only does he give us
joy for the morning but he gives us the promise that the things of yesterday
are gone, today all things are made new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are past away;
behold, all things are become new.
When my
body is too weak to carry on, He makes all things new.
When I wake
up in the morning, He makes all things new.
When I choose sin, He makes all things new.
Whether
you’re recommitting your life to God and setting
some things aside or deciding to live for God for the first time, remember He is making all things new. Are you still thinking about the long list of
yesterday or are you walking with new joy, a new promise, a new freedom?
